Welcome to Pearl City Community Church. We are a community built on a simple truth: God loved us first, and our faith is a joyful response to that love. Our vision is simple: to embody the loving presence of Jesus Christ and share it with everyone we meet.

Our Mission
​To fulfill that vision, our church is focused on three things:

• Learning about God through His Word.
• Loving through Jesus Christ.
• Living by the Holy Spirit.

​Our Governance 
We are a congregationally-led church. This means that the ultimate authority for our decisions rests directly with our members.

Our Denomination
 While we are a fully independent and self-governing church , we maintain our historic fellowship with the Oahu Association, the Hawaii Conference, and the General Synod of the United Church of Christ (UCC). Because we are an evangelical, Bible-centered church, we are sometimes asked why we stay in a denomination known for differing theological views. For us, it’s an intentional, strategic choice:

• Local Freedom: The UCC structure guarantees our absolute autonomy. No outside organization dictates what we preach, who we hire, or how we worship.
• Honoring Our Heritage: Hawaii has a rich, evangelical missionary history. We choose to stay and steward that legacy, keeping our "seat at the table."
• A Faithful Witness: We remain engaged to provide a clear, unwavering voice for orthodox, biblical Christianity.

Our Ultimate Authority 
Above all, our highest authority is God's Word. If culture or denominational trends ever drift, we will anchor ourselves to Scripture—every single time.
