Installation of Kahu Gordon Marchant
A historic event took place in the life of the Hawaii Conference of the United Church of Christ in Hawaii. We had the first online UCC Installation Service!
Our own Pastor Gordon Marchant was installed as Pastor and Teacher at Pearl City Community Church on August 30, 2020. Kahu Rennie Mau of Ewa Community Church provided his expertise, whereby he coordinated, with the assistance of Aleta Marchant, over 60 participants from a multitude of churches and organizations on Oahu and the Big Island, to produce an amazing Online Installation service. Ms. Sofia Matias of Common Grace gave an inspirational message, and beautiful, uplifting music, songs, and dance from across Oahu and the Big Island brought tears of joy to all.
